I pace around my living room/kitchenette trying to come up with another post to publish on this blog. Outside a light rain falls. It’s a chilly (40s), gray day in Pittsburgh.
Beyond one window is the damp, red brick wall of another apartment building and a wet parking lot. I can only see two wet cars from this window. Beyond my favorite window is the backyard of the home of a family. There’s an evergreen tree in their yard and the family has turned over the brown dirt of part of the green lawn for a garden. I wonder if it will be a flower garden or a vegetable garden. And beyond their home are other homes and beyond those homes is the Cathedral of Learning of the University of Pittsburgh standing 44 stories high against the gray sky.
I really like the new magazine-style layout of the blog. It makes the blog look like a real magazine and makes me feel like a real editor/publisher. What am I talking about? I am a real editor/publisher. And I’ve finally become comfortable using the WordPress.org blogging platform.
Well, next week I’ll have more to blog about. Next Thursday I get my fun money. I always pay my bills, but I can never make my fun money last all month long. But next Thursday I’ll have fun money which means drinking at Armand’s and karaoke at Nico’s, both which are in Little Italy, a fifteen-minute walk from my apartment building. And I’ll probably wait until next week to publish the new erotic story by Alexa Night.
But right now I need something to blog about.
Hail to Pitt!
