I grew up with Playboy Magazine. I was much too young to buy the first issue; but when I did get old enough to buy Playboy and I became a regular reader of the magazine, I was surprised by how many women read Playboy Magazine, too. I hope the same thing happens with my little online girlie magazine.
Hello hello hello, all my fans who live all over the world! How’s everyone doing? A new day of blogging has begun.
I want to thank all of you who are regular readers of my little online girlie magazine for supporting the Pittsburgh Flash Fiction Gazette. And I want to welcome all you first timers.
These are exciting times for the Pittsburgh Flash Fiction Gazette community. The magazine has averaged around 420 visitors and 2,500 page views every day for this month of March 2015.
And even though the magazine has some content that dates back to 2008, this version of the magazine is only about one year old. The old version of the magazine was shut down twice for adult content. Well, you live and you learn. This version will not be shut down because I moved it to a new blogging platform (WordPress.org) and hired a new host (HostGator) and both are cool with all my adult content.
But for those of you who are new to this site, there is a lot more going on here than just adult content. Check out the front page, scan the sidebar and explore the site. You’ll see exactly what I mean. There are now more than 1,400 posts on this site. You are sure to find something that will entertain or inform or inspire you, especially if you’re a writer and you have an interest in erotic flash fiction.
This is the Old Soldier reporting for Pittsburgh’s #1 blog of commentaries, pop culture, articles on how to write flash fiction, things Pittsburgh, the movies, erotic short stories and sex as art and entertainment.
Today in The ‘Burgh it will be a partly sunny day with a high in the 40s.
