It’s an overcast, cool (60s) evening in the ‘Burgh. I stopped at Armand’s in Little Italy for a few beers and met a woman that claimed she had an original Andy Warhol painting. I was blown away. We talked. She was of my generation (baby boomer) and she was cool. I gave her a free copy (paperback) of my book.
Man, after The Steelers lost to The Ravens last night the phone lines on 93.7 FM The Fan blew up. What’s wrong with The Steelers? Now this is only the second game of the NFL season; but you have to remember The Steelers were 8 & 8 last season. The Steelers Nation is nervous.
The Pirates keep sailing along. Man, I hope they make the playoffs. If they make the MBL playoffs this year it means last year was not a fluke.
Summer is coming to an end in The ‘Burgh. The highs will be in the 60s and 70s the next few days. I’m not ready for fall, but there’s nothing I can do about it. The weather really affects my mood. I’m sure it’s that way for a lot of people.
