Dateline Pittsburgh: 9:30 a.m.
Yes it’s the last day of 2017. Hello hello hello, everybody everywhere! And since it’s December in Pittsburgh it will be a mostly cloudy day in Pittsburgh with a high of 18 but when you add in the windchill factor it feels even colder than what the official temperature is.
If I may state the obvious, it is cold today in Pittsburgh! But the show must go on. The show will go on! I have a diary/smut magazine to publish. Even though there are still several more hours left before December 2017 is history I would like to share with you the statistics for December 2017 of my little diary/smut magazine as of eight this morning.
Stats For December 2017

- Views Per Visitor: 3.94

You know you can’t beat that with a stick!
Those are the best stats this blog has had since it went online way back in February 2014. All of you who checked out my little diary/smut magazine this month have made me very happy. I feel re-energized and I look forward as a full-time professional blogger who is also a retired baby boomer to 2018 with confidence and determination.
Well, I’m going to publish this post and then do my deep breathing and flexibility and stretching exercises and then jump in the shower and shave my face and head and check out on YouTube the songs by The Doors I hope to sing at karaoke tonight at Sonny’s Tavern in Little Italy and then maybe I’ll sip beer while on my back on the sofa with two pillows under my weary head as I continue to read On The Road by Jack Kerouac…
I’ll probably stay in and listen to The Steelers/Browns football game at 1:00 p.m. on the radio. Or I might watch some of the game at Armand’s in Little Italy. I don’t own a television. It all depends on how ambitious I feel, on how eager I am to brave the elements. Armand’s is about eight blocks from my apartment building. Sonny’s is only three blocks from my apartment building. On a blustery day like today eight blocks may be too far to walk. Three blocks is just right.
Hail to Pitt!
“…Writing is something that you can never do as well as it can be done. It is a perpetual challenge and it is more difficult than anything else that I have ever done—so I do it. And it makes me happy when I do it well.”–Ernest Hemingway
“I did not grow up with the internet. I did not set up my first blog until I was in my 50s. Now that I’m retired I have the time to be a full-time professional blogger. And I love it. I’ve found my true calling. I was born to be a blogger.”–Guy Hogan
