Right now it’s snowing beyond my windows.
It’s late morning in Pittsburgh and spring officially arrives this evening. The high today will be in the 40s.
Well, warm weather is on the way. This means I’ll soon be taking long walks down through the campus of the University of Pittsburgh and through Schenley Park to come out in South Oakland where Andy Warhol grew up.
I’ve often thought about walking up to the house where he grew up (I’ve seen young people going in and out) and knocking on the door and asking whoever came to the door if he or she knew that Andy Warhol grew up in the same house. I wonder what would happen. I don’t think I’ll ever do it. I’m not that kind of person.
But I’m looking forward to my next long walk into South Oakland.
Hello hello hello, all my fans who live all over the world!
