The days are getting shorter and cooler. It will be a sunny day in Pittsburgh today, but the high will only be around 70. I’m thinking of posting this and then taking a nice, long hike through Schenley Park…
Hello, hello, hello, all you rock ‘n’ rollers! I got some unexpected funds on Monday, so after purchasing a couple of items for the apartment from the dollar store across the street, I strolled into Little Italy. It felt good to sit once again at the bar in Armand’s and to look out on sunny Liberty Avenue. I’ll be back on my regular beat in Little Italy on Friday and then Sunday night it’s karaoke at Sonny’s Tavern in Little Italy. There is one problem.
The Steelers play at eight-thirty Sunday night and karaoke at Sonny’s usually starts at ten on Sunday nights. I wonder if the game will push back the start of karaoke. If it does that won’t leave much time for karaoke. I thought of going back to Nico’s in Little Italy for karaoke Saturday night; but since I use public transportation and Nico’s is like ten blocks from my apartment building (Sonny’s is only two blocks away) I’d rather go to Sonny’s Sunday night. It’s no fun walking home from Nico’s at one in the morning because you’ve been drinking and you’ve missed your bus. I plan to be at Sonny’s Sunday night.
Hail to Pitt!
