It’s a gorgeous day in Pittsburgh, sunny with the high in the 70s.
Yes, the Pittsburgh Pirates play their home opener against the Detroit Tigers this evening. As I’ve stated before in the pages of this magazine, I’m a casual fan; but every year baseball season makes me feel young. And the Old Soldier is not young. Why do you think I call myself the Old Soldier? If I was young, I’d call myself the Young Soldier. Right? Whatever.
I’ll listen to the game on the radio.
