Hello, my brothers and sisters, the blogging day has begun. In order to keep the momentum going from last month I’ve made it gospel that the first thing I do before I leave my apartment is to put up a blog post. Views and visitors were great for last month so all I have to do is to keep doing what I’m doing because the Pittsburgh Flash Fiction Gazette is right on the cusp of getting 30,000 views a month and 8,000 visitors a month.
Blogging is central to my life. I’m retired. I have the time. I have the passion for blogging. For me, blogging is like karaoke. Both make me feel young.
When I put up a blog post it’s doesn’t have to be 1,000 or 800 or 600 or even 400 words long. I just have to basically say I’m here I’m on the job. It has taken me oh three and a half years to realize this. Because if this short blog post can bring a visitor to this blog that visitor then will see the masthead and the sidebar showing all the other good things this blog offers.
Hail to Pitt!
