The Old Soldier was surfing YouTube last night. I decided to see what I could find on Bettie Page, the iconic pinup girl from the 1950s.
There was Bettie in all her glory dancing, posing, frolicking and dabbling in S&M and bondage. It all seemed so quaint and innocent.
There was even a relatively recent dramatic film based on Bettie’s life. It was pretty good. Gretchen Mol, an actress I never heard of, played Bettie. She nailed the part.
Bettie Page was an original.
Hello hello hello, all my fans from all over the world! A new blogging day has begun. What adventures will we share in blogging today?
I did get a chance to stop in at Armand’s Bar in Little Italy yesterday. I shot the breeze with a couple of the regulars, ate peanuts, drank beer, watched television and kept an eye on the comings and goings on Liberty Avenue. It was an overcast, chilly (30s) day. Overcast, chilly days are no good for inspiration for me.
I need more sunshine. And I won’t get much inspiration from the weather today, either.
But maybe you can get some inspiration from my little girlie magazine. The front page is updated throughout the day.
This is the Old Soldier reporting for Pittsburg’s #1 girlie magazine of erotic flash fiction, nude female celebrities and the best gangbang stories on the Internet.
