Hello, hello, hello, all you rock ‘n’ rollers! It’s your favorite editor/publisher here, doing a little blogging on what is right now a cloudy morning in Pittsburgh. And even though there may be more clouds than sunshine today in The ‘Burgh, the high will be around 70. A high of 70 in Pittsburgh in December is freaky…
I’m going to putter around the apartment until around noon. That’s when Armand’s in Little Italy opens on Sundays. Then I’ll stroll into Little Italy and see who’s in Armand’s and I’ll probably have a couple of beers and maybe even watch a little of the game on television. The Steelers play the Bengals at one. But it’s too expensive to watch the game in a bar. So, I’ll get a six-pack to go and I’ll get back home and take up my favorite position flat on my back with two fat pillows under my weary head and listen to the game on the radio (I get more blogging, reading and writing done without a television) as I sip beer and read the books I renewed from the public library.
It sounds like a plan.
If the Steelers lose this game they will probably not make the playoffs. Well, explore the site. This is blog post #1,881. You’re sure to find something that will entertain or inform or inspire you.
This is Guy Hogan reporting for the Pittsburgh Flash Fiction Gazette, the city’s only magazine of commentaries, culture, short stories and topless women.
Hail to Pitt!
