Hello hello hello, all my fans who live all over the world with a special shout-out to all my fans in Brazil!
I have one of those stats pages that shows me what countries my traffic comes from and I’m happy to report that the Pittsburgh Flash Fiction Gazette is read on every continent on the planet except for the Arctic and Antarctica.
But I digress.
I’m already sick and tired of this winter weather we’re getting in Pittsburgh. (I know. I’m lucky I don’t live in Boston.) And we still have at least another month of winter weather to go. But guess what? Catchers and pitchers are to report for spring training for the Pirates on Wednesday. I think the team’s spring training camp is in Florida. Can baseball be far behind?
It’s a cloudy day in Pittsburgh today. The high will be around 15 degrees. Right now it’s around a -5. At least there’s little wind and we are not supposed to get any more snow (maybe a few snow flurries) added to the few inches that have already fallen the past few days. Yes, Pittsburgh has been lucky so far.
I don’t have to go outside. I might go across the avenue to the dollar store to get something to snack on. I’ll putter around the apartment, maybe doing a little cleaning. I want to throw away some of the paper clutter that always accumulates in this apartment and I’ll spend some time on social media.
But the main thing I want to do is to continue the process of backing up my computer files. Verizon is my Internet Provider and I’m paying to have my files backed up but I can’t get into my account to activate what I have to activate to back up my files. So, backing up my files in the next few days is #1 on my to do list.
I’ve already started doing my breathing and stretching exercises again because I should get some fun money later this month so that I can go to karaoke at Nico’s in Little Italy the last Saturday night of this February. I’m not just a karaoke singer. I’m a performance artist.
That’s all for right now.
This is the Old Soldier reporting from Pittsburgh.
