How’s everyone doing? I hope you’re doing well. If you’re not doing well, I hope my little girlie magazine will bring a little happiness into your life.
It’s true that the Pittsburgh Flash Fiction Gazette is a blog; but it’s also an online Pittsburgh-centric magazine that covers blogging, erotic fiction, film, karaoke and topless women. The Gazette is a business and like any business it has expenditures and revenues. My projected expenditures for 2016 are $360 which covers hosting, backup, domain name and paid contributors. So far this year I’ve made $74.00 from ads (Mr. Skin/Naked News). I cover losses out of my own pocket; but I’m happy to announce that I’ve reduced my personal monthly expenses by $60.00.
You know you can’t beat that with a stick!
How did I accomplish this? I will no longer publish a new story by a paid ($30.00) contributor every month, but instead will publish a special fiction issue in July when I can pay my contributors out of the rent rebate check I get every July (I’m in the process of filling out the rent rebate form and should mail it in by snail mail this month); and I downloaded several of my favorite videos from Exploited College Girls and cancelled my monthly ($30.00) subscription. The result is $60.00 more of fun money in my pocket every month.
Hail to Pitt!
This is Guy Hogan reporting from Pittsburgh.
Today in The ‘Burgh the high will be around 68 with a mix of clouds and sunshine.
