Hello, hello, hello, all you rock ‘n’ rollers! A new day of blogging has begun. Today in The ‘Burgh there will be a mix of clouds and sunshine with a high around 90, another beautiful summer day in paradise. And yes, one week from today I’ll be back on my regular beat in Bloomfield, Pittsburgh’s Little Italy, drinking that first beer at Armand’s on Liberty Avenue.
A Few Insights About Page Views
Yesterday was a good day for my little girlie magazine. The Gazette got 1,132 page views which gives the magazine a daily average of 922 page views for July 2016. And I did a little tweaking of the magazine over the weekend. I changed the subtitle again.
The old subtitle was: Blogging*Film*Karaoke*Short Stories*TV*The Female Nude
The new subtitle is: Blogging*Karaoke*Movies*Sexy Stories*TV*Topless Women
Why did I change the subtitle yet once again? Because as far as I can tell (from reviewing my stats on how people have found this site over a one year period) the words “movies”, “sexy” and “topless women” are used more often to find The Gazette than the words they replaced. I also changed the category Nude Pinup to Topless Women for the same reason.
So, add these changes to the number of posts that are on this site (just over 2,100 posts), the number of Naked News videos on the site (166), the fact that the search terms “naked news” and “naked news videos” or some variation of the terms are the top terms for how people find this site and that I’m constantly adding new content, I think my little girlie magazine has a real good chance of making 1,000 page views every day my baseline in the near future (like this summer).
Why am I so obsessed with page views? I have to be if The Gazette is ever to operate in the black which obviously would be a good thing for me; and I’m sure every reader of the magazine understands that if I prosper the magazine will continue to prosper.
Hail to Pitt!
