It will be a mostly sunny day in Pittsburgh today with a high of 9 but the windchill will make it feel like it’s between -15 to -20 outside! We are under a windchill advisory until tomorrow afternoon.
Excuse my French, but what the fuck…
Still I have a blog to publish and thank heavens I don’t have to blog outside. I’ve already published a Mr Skin video and a Naked News video today.
And I think I solved another problem. When the local commercial 24/7 all news station signed off for the last time last week I was distraught. See I refuse to have a television in my apartment because I found out several years ago that having a television made me lazy and I got a lot less blogging and writing done with a television in my apartment but like many people around my age who are retired and who have lived alone for many years I like to have a radio for company. I listen to sports and the local 24/7 sports talk show and I use to listen to the old local commercial 24/7 all news station. I use to blog to the all news station and leave it on low at night and sleep to it.
Well now the commercial 24/7 all news station is kaput and for the past few days my insomnia returned.
But don’t cry for me Argentina.
I’m happy to report that I rediscovered the local National Public Radio (NPR) 24/7 all news station and I’m back to sleeping like a baby.
Hail to Pitt!
“All good books are alike in that they are truer than if they had really happened and after you are finished reading one you will feel that all that happened to you and afterwards it all belongs to you: the good and the bad, the ecstasy, the remorse and sorrow, the people and the places and how the weather was. If you can get so that you can give that to people, then you are a writer.” –Ernest Hemingway
“Retirement is a great time to be a full-time professional blogger because you don’t have to make a living at blogging but you have plenty of time to do it and if you get good enough at it you can make some extra money from it, too.”–Guy Hogan
