Hello hello hello, all my fans who live all over the world with a special shout-out to all my fans in the Dominican Republic! Guy Hogan is my name and flash fiction is my game.
How’s everyone doing?
What adventures in blogging will we share today? This is my third post for the day and the sun isn’t even up yet. It will be a cloudy day in the 30s in Pittsburgh today.
I did make it to the public library yesterday. There were several inches of snow on the ground and more snow was falling; but since the temperature was in the 30s (it felt so warm outside compared to earlier in the week) I decided to walk both ways. I got some good exercise in.
And I turned in my book about the Crimean War of 1853 to 1856 and checked out a book on the American Revolutionary War and a book on Tennessee Williams. A writer has to feed the mind.
But enough about me.
This is the last week of February. Some time during this week I’ll publish “Shades Of Red” by Nicci Hayden. It will be her first appearance in my little girlie magazine and you don’t want to miss it.
And in March I’ll publish “Sweet Dreams” by Laura Roberts. It will be her first appearance in The Gazette, too.
If all goes well, I’ll be back on my beat in Little Italy on Friday which means there will be another post about karaoke as performance art the first week of March. Also in March, the Pittsburgh Pirates will begin the 2015 baseball season. The hosts of the local radio sports talk show 93.7 FM The Fan are convinced that the Pirates will be in the thick of the playoff race this season and I will report on the Pirates from the perspective of a casual fan.
We casual fans count, too. Plus, there are always more casual fans of a sport than there are hardcore fans. I think I’m a pretty good representative of the casual baseball fan. I’m hardcore about blogging.
And in March you can expect more videos from Mr. Skin and Naked News. Add to this mix the usual subjects: how to write flash fiction, commentaries, culture, nude pinups and things Pittsburgh and I think the March issue of the Pittsburgh Flash Fiction Gazette will be sure to entertain, inform and inspire you.
I sure hope so.
This is the Old Soldier reporting for Pittsburgh’s #1 blog of adult entertainment.
