I’m retired which allows me to be a full-time blogger. My blog, the Pittsburgh Flash Fiction Gazette, is set up like a magazine and it covers flash fiction among many other subjects; but since I’m the editor and the publisher of the magazine I often find myself searching high and low for content.
When my television went kaput a few years ago I never replaced it because I found out I got far more blogging done without a television in my apartment. But as a blogger I have to stay informed. And I refuse to spend money on newspapers. So, I get my news from the Internet and the radio. I get most of my news from the radio.
Pittsburgh has a 24/7 news radio station (KQV) and a 24/7 radio sports talk show. I listen to the radio all day long and half of the night. And no matter how I try to spin it (somebody help me), I’ve become a news junkie…
