Ladies and gentlemen, once again The Doors!
Since I got my new computer (my old computer kept freezing up on me) I’m able to watch videos again. Last night I found myself once again on YouTube watching videos of bands from my youth. I was nineteen years old in 1965. I fought in Vietnam. Back home I witnessed the demonstrations and riots. I was a part of the revolutionary changes that took place in society. And the band that seemed to embody this madness was The Doors.
There are only two members of The Doors still alive; but the music of the band still speaks to me in a way that the music of no other band does and I suspect this is true for a lot of other people young and old.
The music of The Doors was the soundtrack of my youth and now the band’s music is the soundtrack of my maturity. The Doors represent to me my own efforts to break on through to the other side as a webmaster.
So, I will be sharing with you my enthusiasm for the band on a regular basis on this blog. Ladies and gentlemen, once again The Doors!
It’s another lovely day in Pittsburgh. So far the sun is out and the high will be in the 60s. I think blogging about The Doors fits perfectly in this magazine of erotic flash fiction. I want to post this and hit the streets. I want to see what the public library has on The Doors.
Here is a list of some of the people who have impacted this online magazine of erotica.
- Anais Nin
- Jack Kerouac
- Lady Gaga
- Hue Hefner
- Andy Warhol
- The Doors
Keep reading and keep writing that erotic flash fiction.
This is the Old Soldier reporting for the Pittsburgh Flash Fiction, an online magazine of sex as art and entertainment.
