The Old Soldier always thinks about Andy Warhol when I walk through Schenley Park, over the Anderson Memorial Bridge and past Dawson Street. Andy Warhol grew up on Dawson Street in Pittsburgh. The Andy Warhol Museum is in Pittsburgh.
I just came back from my walk. It’s a hot (80s), sunny afternoon. Andy Warhol has been a great inspiration to me. He worked in silk-screening, music, publishing, filmmaking, fashion, photography, commercial art and fine art. He was a provocateur. He was a genius at self-promotion.Woman As Art
