Where would we online writers be without the Internet? I’ll tell you where we would be. Nowheresville! That’s where we would be.
I think I’m like a lot of online writers who for one reason or another found traditional publishing had no room for me. The gate keepers allowed only a certain number of writers in and that was that.
Well, the Internet has democratized publication. We online writers can publish ourselves (and other writers). We can offer our work directly to the reader.
Now we all know there is a lot of bad writing online; but the good writing can get through if online writers are persistent and smart about getting their work out there. Online writing is not for the faint hearted.
Hello hello hello, all my brother and sister readers and writers. A new day of blogging has dawned. The high will be around 29 degrees in Pittsburgh on another overcast, snowy day. The Old Soldier has a big, fat chicken in the refrigerator that will go into the crock pot tomorrow, Christmas Day.
But I digress.Woman As Art
Have you thought about submitting an erotic flash fiction story to the Pittsburgh Flash Fiction Gazette? You know this is a paying market, don’t you? I recently had to pass on a story that simply did not fit this publication.
The best way for a writer to get an idea of what kinds of erotica I publish is to read the stories of several of the guest writers who have already been published in the magazine.
Then read and follow the submission guidelines. Once you have something accepted for publication, I’ll depend on you for more stories all year-long. But you have to get that first acceptance.
The Submissions tab is in the sidebar.
