This is rather embarrassing. You see I use social media to promote the Pittsburgh Flash Fiction Gazette (Not bad for an old dude, huh?). I use Facebook, Tumblr and Twitter. Every time I publish a new post here on the magazine my social media accounts alert my followers and friends that I’ve published a new blog post.
You get the picture.
But Twitter is my main go to social media by far. I spend a lot of time re-tweeting the tweets of my followers who in turn re-tweet my tweets announcing that I’ve published a new blog post. Sometimes I don’t check my Facebook and Tumblr accounts for days. Weeks.
Well, today I checked my Facebook account. I mean I really checked it out. And guess what? Several people had wished me a happy birthday. My birthday was last month, October the 25th. All my Facebook friends must think I’m a jackass.
I didn’t know what to do. Should I just let it slide? I decided just to thank everyone. Now all my friends probably think I’m an idiot.
It’s snowing in The ‘Burgh today. We’re expecting one inch of snow. The Old Soldier’s winter campaign has begun.
This is The Old Soldier reporting for Pittsburgh’s #1 girlie magazine of erotic flash fiction, nude female celebrities and the best gangbang stories on the Internet.
