Yes, there will be karaoke at Sonny’s Tavern in Little Italy on Sunday night. I just came back from Sonny’s. I did something that I’ve been meaning to do for a long time. I bought a Sonny’s t-shirt, all black with a little white lettering. And I’m going to check out the bands that Sonny’s will be hosting tonight.
I want to see what the young kids have to offer.
Sounds arrogant, doesn’t it? But I do a mean Jim Morrison. Paul, one of the owners was in the bar so I know I’m getting the skinny from the horse’s mouth about karaoke Sunday night and the bands tonight; I was a little taken aback when I played 99 Red Balloons by Nena on the juke box and Paul asked me if I was going to sing 99 Red Balloons Sunday night.
I said I only sing The Doors. He said, thank god. I don’t know if that’s a compliment or not. I’ll take it as a compliment.

PS Now I think I’ll take an old man’s nap.
