Where was I?
I got up so early this morning I had to take a nap (after putting up a post and doing some re-tweeting on Twitter). Now it’s daylight and I can get back to blogging.
Hello, all my fans who live all over the world! The Old Soldier is back at his post.
The local sports radio-talk station, 93.7 FM The Fan, is full of talk about the University of Pittsburgh finding a new head for its athletic department and a new coach for its football team since the university fired the former and the latter jumped ship all within the past 48 hours. Even though the Panthers are going to a bowl game in January, the team is 6 and 6 for this season and has been an average football team for the past several years.
It was time for a change.
And the Pittsburgh Steelers are guaranteed a winning season for the first time in four seasons. Right now the team is 9 and 7. The team will play its last two games here at home. If the team pulls out a win, it will be a wild-card team in the playoffs. If the team wins both games, it will win the division outright.
I haven’t blogged this much about football in weeks. I use to be big on football; but now that I’m older blogging and karaoke are my passions.
It makes sense. I don’t play football. I blog every day and I’m a karaoke performance artist.
This is the Old Soldier reporting for Pittsburgh’s #1 magazine of adult entertainment.
