The Steelers play the Bengals on Sunday Night Football in Pittsburgh.
You can’t beat that with a stick!
Hello hello hello, all my fans who live all over the world! The Old Soldier is reporting for duty.
Yes, I’ve stated many times on this blog that I’m just a casual sports fan. But even a casual fan starts to pay attention when his or her hometown football team makes the playoffs. Both the Steelers and the Bengals are already guaranteed a wild-card berth. Tonight’s game will decide who wins the division. Winning the division guarantees a game at home during the playoffs.
Of course, everything is never peaches and cream in life or football. Apparently a new trend has taken hold in the Steelers Nation: empty seats at home games. The hosts on the local sports radio talk show, 93.7 The Fan, are asking callers why they think there are so many empty seats at Steelers home games.
Has the NFL finally priced itself out of the market for the average fan? I know I can’t afford to go to a Steelers game even if I wanted to. Which I don’t. I like the comfort of home and I can get a six-pack of beer for what I would have to pay for a cup of beer at the game.
Spank my bare bottom and call me a nudists! Do you think dollar stores will ever start selling beer?
This is the Old Soldier reporting for the Pittsburgh Flash Fiction Gazette, a girlie magazine of erotic fiction, commentaries, culture, nude pinups and the best gangbang stories on the Internet.
