Hello, all you rock ‘n’ rollers! It’s an overcast (the sun is trying to break through) day in the city, the high around 60 degrees. I’ve already made a run to Armand’s on Liberty Avenue in Little Italy and now I’m back in my small but cozy apartment, trying to come up with something to blog about.
The Pirates will play their second game of the season later today here at home so I want to drink some beer and listen to that. But I really want to blog about my Twitter marketing campaign.
With my old computer, I couldn’t use my Twitter account without it freezing up. With my new computer, everything is Kool and the Gang.
Of course, every time I publish something on this website, the title shows up on Twitter with a backlink. But now I’ve started to tweet several times a day. I tweet things like:
- Bethany Sage writes erotica for the Pittsburgh Flash Fiction Gazette.
- Pittsburgh, discover just how exciting flash fiction can be.
- An online magazine about Pittsburgh, creative writing, culture and sex as art and entertainment.
Then I add a backlink. And it’s working.
How’s everyone doing?
Earlier today, I sat on a stool in Armand’s next to the window and sipped a draft and watched Liberty Avenue. Life on Liberty Avenue did not give me any ideas I could blog about; but the view of Liberty Avenue did make me appreciate being retired even though I’m working harder and putting in more hours as a webmaster then I ever did when I was in the workforce.
Oh, sure, I wish I was handsomer, younger, taller and richer. Still, I know I’m a lucky man because I have no aches or pains and I love being a webmaster.
This is the Old Soldier reporting for the Pittsburgh Flash Fiction Gazette, a blog of art, culture, creative writing and sex as art and entertainment.
