It is my belief that writing is an act of hope for a writer. Writing is a re-affirmation of life.
Hello, all my brother and sister bloggers, poets, readers and writers from all over the world! This is the Old Soldier getting philosophical on you.
I am writing this post in my composition notebook (to be transcribed later) as I sit at the bar in Little Italy here in Pittsburgh. Fall is in the air. The temperatures for the next few days will be in the 60s.

This blog is about flash fiction. It’s about sex. It’s about sports. It’s about writing. It’s about culture. It’s about entertainment and art. It is an original. Don’t believe me? Find out for yourself. This blog is updated nearly every day.
This the Old Soldier reporting from Pittsburgh.
