Hugh Hefner the founder of Playboy Magazine died last night at the age of 91. I grew up with Playboy Magazine. It was the gold standard of men’s magazines and a powerful progressive voice for cultural change and sexual liberation. It was about a lot more than naked women. When I was growing up reading Playboy I had no idea that one day I would publish the Pittsburgh Flash Fiction Gazette. My little online magazine of culture for adults only is a direct result of Playboy Magazine.
Hello hello hello, and welcome to the Pittsburgh Flash Fiction Gazette which features Naked News videos and so much more. Today will be a sunny day in Pittsburgh but the high will only be around 70 after several days of scorching highs around 90.
And tomorrow I will be back on my regular beat in Little Italy around 10:00 a.m. What adventures in blogging will we share today? I haven’t even checked all of the news outlets that I like to read on the web as soon as I wake up. I woke up this morning on the sofa as usual to the radio low on the local sports talk show and I heard that Hugh Hefner had died. So, I knew the first thing I had to do as the editor/publisher of this blog was to recognize his passing.
Explore the site. There are a little more than 2,300 posts on this blog. Take out your free email subscription right now! This is an online magazine for men and women. Because we celebrate female sexuality.
