Hello, all my brother and sister readers and writers from all over the world. Welcome to my little online magazine for adults who appreciate creative writing, culture and sex, all three in the same publication. As I write this, it is 12 degrees in Pittsburgh on a sunny Saturday afternoon.
I like to think of inspiration as the blood that flows warm through the veins of a writer. It’s just that a writer constantly needs new infusions of inspiration to keep writing. And inspiration can be found in all sorts of places and situations, some good and some bad. A writer’s inspiration can be found in the bedroom or on the battlefield, in a hospital room or on an oil rig in the ocean, in a book or in the local mom and pop grocery store.
Inspiration is a mysterious thing. The strange thing about inspiration is that if a writer waits for inspiration before writing anything, that writer probably won’t write very much. A writer can’t wait for inspiration. Because a writer needs to write. That’s what writers do. This is why writer’s block is so frustrating. This is why writers keep searching for inspiration; whether they have writer’s block or not.
Staying Connected To The Internet
The Old Soldier removed two more programs (I’ve already removed several) from his computer which freed up some space on his hard drive. And then I defragged my hard drive. But these are very temporary solutions to a slow computer. My tech teams says I need a new computer because my present 12-year-old computer system simply does not have the power it needs to operate the way it should.
So, the Old Soldier has begun his search for a new computer. I don’t want to wake up one morning and find I can no longer get online. Then what would happen to my little magazine?
This is the Old Soldier reporting for the Pittsburgh Flash Fiction Gazette, the premiere online magazine of erotica for men and women.
