We at the Pittsburgh Flash Fiction Gazette are having an online party and you’re invited! This party is a celebration of culture, of creative writing and of sex. Oh, hell, let’s just say it’s a celebration of life.
If you’re new to this site, the first thing you want to do is to scan the front page. See what I mean about a celebration of life? In the pages of this magazine, you might come across anything from karaoke as performance art to short stories about gangbang videos. You could read a post about how to write erotic flash fiction one day and the next day read a report on the plight of the homeless in Pittsburgh.
Although the focus of the magazine is on sex, sex is only part of the story.
So, explore the magazine. Take out a free email subscription today. Join the party and have a good time.
Hello hello hello, all you readers and writers of erotic flash fiction. There’s going to be karaoke tonight at Nico’s in Little Italy here in Pittsburgh and the Old Soldier plans to be there.
Karaoke as performance art is no joke. When you don’t have to look at the monitor and you can get into the song and direct your energy toward the audience, your performance turns into a mini concert. That’s the theory behind karaoke as performance art. And the Old Soldier is here to assure you that it works.
I’ll be putting the theory to the test again tonight. Karaoke helps to keep the Old Soldier young. I even shave my face and head and wear a bandana for karaoke. It’s all part of my karaoke persona. Rock me, baby, rock me, baby, all night long.
This magazine is a paying market. I’m always looking for well-written erotic flash fiction. I like to call the kind of story I publish “literary erotica.” What is literary erotica? It’s fiction where characterization and story are just as important if not more important than the sex. Be sure to read and follow the submission guidelines.
This is the Old Soldier reporting for the Pittsburgh Flash Fiction Gazette, a blog of erotic flash fiction, culture and sex.
