Hello, all you rock ‘n’ rollers! My carpal tunnel is nearly over. I’ll be able to perform Saturday night at Nico’s, but I won’t be throwing the cordless mic around like I like to do. You should have been at Nico’s the first time I tossed the Mic in the air and I missed it. It wasn’t the first time I tossed it in the air. It was the first time I didn’t catch it. How embarrassing! I still have to type this blog post with only one hand (one finger).
Well, today I’ve been drinking beer, reading about the 2016 presidential campaign on the Internet, watching porn and listening to the music of The Doors (the songs I’ll probably sing Saturday night at Nico’s) on YouTube. To me, all four seem to go together…
But I listened to The Doors over and over and over and over and over and over…; because if you approach karaoke as an art form, you don’t want to get up in front of an audience and have to think about what you’re doing. You want the lyrics to “hurl” out of your subconscious.

Hail to Pitt!
PS I probably won’t be back to full-time blogging, using both hands on the keyboard, until Monday.
