Yesterday I stopped at both Armand’s and Sonny’s Tavern in Little Italy. I was happy to be on my regular beat again and once again I mentally promised myself to manage my fun money better so that I’m not broke in two weeks. We’ll see how that goes.
In the meantime I continue my deep breathing, flexibility and stretching exercises for karaoke tomorrow night at Sonny’s. Even though I’ll definitely get to sing two songs and maybe even three songs I’m prepared to sing any three of five songs by The Animals.
Hail To Pitt!
“For me karaoke is not just about singing a song. It’s about acting out. It’s about working on personal issues in an acceptable public forum. It’s about taking myself and the audience or as many of the audience who are willing to go on a psychic journey of discovery and release.”——Guy Hogan
