Hello, hello, hello, all you rock ‘n’ rollers! It’s the Old Soldier here getting back into the swing of blogging after taking several days R&R (rest and relaxation for all you civilians).
Well, I did not manage my fun money (as usual) as I wanted to which means I will not be at karaoke tonight at Nico’s in Little Italy; but I did hold on to enough to drink at Armand’s in Little Italy for a few more days. And I was at Armand’s this afternoon. And on the television at my end of the bar was the first episode of “Fast and Furious.”
I haven’t had a television in years. It keeps me from writing and blogging. So, it had to go. But when I go to Armand’s, television is a real treat for me and I know about “Fast and Furious.” And I can see why the series was such a great hit: lots of fast, pimped out cars, sexy women, dangerous men, better than average characterization and bad and good characters to root for or against.
The unseasonably warm weather continues in Pittsburgh. Today the high will be around 65 with a mix of more clouds than sunshine. And the next few days will be the same. This is really unusual weather for The ‘Burgh in December.
This is Guy Hogan reporting for the Pittsburgh Flash Fiction Gazette, the city’s only magazine of commentaries, culture, short stories and topless women. The photos of the women for this post was sampled from Egotastic All Stars.
Hail to Pitt!
