Hello, hello, hello, all you rock ‘n’ rollers all over the world! I had a great time at karaoke last night at Nico’s in Little Italy. There was a bachelorette party and you know that girls just want to have fun. I was mainly an observer last night, enjoying the good vibes and singing my two songs. I did ask the DJ if he had any news about the lost nurse and her friend from the previous Saturday of karaoke. I danced with the lost nurse and she and her sister nurse and I all shared a table together when the nurse who was the friend and I realized that the nurse I had danced with had disappeared leaving her purse, phone and jacket at our table. The friend and the DJ went looking outside for her. Nothing. The friend said she was staying until closing and then would gather up the belongings of the lost nurse and she would take a cab home. The DJ had no news for me.
Well, I’m going to use today to recover from 20 continuous days of fun. No deep breathing and stretching exercises on Sundays. I’m just going to assume my favorite position (flat on my back on the sofa with two fat pillows under my weary head) as I catch up on my reading and listen to the Steelers (it’s the home opener against the 49ers) on the radio.
It’s time to dry out. I probably won’t have anymore fun money until next week.
