Life is so complicated. Flash fiction is so short. Can a flash fiction writer capture life?
The flash fiction writer faces a daunting task. Life is an ever-changing drama. Life recedes into the past and rushes onward into the future. And there sits the flash fiction writer, trying to squeeze life into 750 words.
Fortunately, there is a solution. The flash fiction writer cannot capture life in 750 words; but he or she can capture a significant moment of life in 750 words. Flash fiction is life at 750 words a pop.
Keep reading and keep writing that sexy flash fiction.
Hello, everyone! This is the Old Soldier reporting from Pittsburgh. Autumn officially arrives today in Pittsburgh. The new season brings with it shorter days and cooler temperatures. The Old Soldier is not complaining. This is football weather.
Speaking of football, the 2-0 Bears come to town to play the 0-2 Steelers. I can’t imagine the Steelers going 3-0, but it could happen. These Steelers have a lot to prove.
Welcome to my new blog of sex, writing and erotic stories, of crock pot cooking and karaoke.
The Old Soldier is a big fan of karaoke. I’ll be back on the karaoke scene at Nico’s in Little Italy the first week of October to report on karaoke as performance art. In the meantime, explore the blog. This blog is an experiment to see if there is a place online for a publication about writing and sex as art and entertainment.
This blog is undated nearly every day. Take a moment to follow or sign up for a free subscription so that you don’t miss a single issue of a new kind of flash fiction publication. It’s a publication about life.
