Hello, writers from all over the world! The college students are slowly returning to Pittsburgh from summer vacation. The Steelers are scheduled to play their second exhibition football game on Monday and I’m writing (to be transcribed later) in my composition notebook as I sit at the bar in Armand’s in Little Italy. Beyond the big window up front, Liberty Avenue is bright with warm sunshine. But summer is almost gone.
The older I get (I’m retired), the more I appreciate summer. Summer makes me feel young and hopeful. Over the years, women wear less and less in public during the summer. Or what they wear gets tighter. Black pants that look like tights are in. The female butt is on full display here in Pittsburgh.
Pittsburgh is a good town to blog about. And now Pittsburgh is home to an exciting blog (this one) about flash fiction, poetry and sex.
