Dateline Pittsburgh: 10:00 a.m.
It’s a beautiful morning in Pittsburgh with plenty of sunshine and the high will be 52 and I’ve already put up a new Naked News video and a new Mr Skin video and now I’m working on this blog post while there is plenty of beer left in the refrigerator and I have just enough fun money left from the $50.00 check from Mr Skin/Naked News that cleared Tuesday for one more sortie into Little Italy today for my last visit to Armand’s for the month but don’t cry for your Baby Boomer Papa because I’ll have a lot more fun money on the first day of next month which is only six days away and that’s the name of that tune.
Hello hello hello, all you rock ‘n’ rollers all over the world who visit the Pittsburgh Adult for your Baby Boomer Papa is reporting for duty and happy birthday to Virginia Wolf who would have been 136 years old yesterday which I found out about when I went to Google something yesterday and Google was using a drawing of Virginia Wolf in announcing her birthday and so I Googled Virginia Wolf and this is what I found on Wikipedia:
“Adeline Virginia Wolf was an English writer. She is considered one of the foremost modernist authors of the 20th century and a pioneer in the use of stream of consciousness as a narrative device.”
Well that got my attention since I really know nothing about Virginia Wolf but if she was a pioneer in the use of stream of consciousness as a narrative device I’m going to read her work and find out all I can about her since I’ve recently started to use stream of consciousness as a blogger and I want to learn all I can about the use of stream of consciousness.
Hail to Pitt!

“It’s a funny thing. I learned to write flash fiction by learning all I could from Ernest Hemingway and Raymond Carver and John O’Hara and Charles Bukowski, but now as a blogger I’ve evolved into using stream of conscious for my blog. Talk about the yin and the yang of a borderline personality. Oh, yes, borderline. I was certified borderline years ago after I came back from Vietnam. I was probably a borderline personality before I served in Vietnam but I’m sure Vietnam did not help. My commitment to writing is what helped to cure me. I started off trying to write like Hemingway. He was a war veteran, too.”–Guy Hogan
