It’s around three in the afternoon and I haven’t left my apartment today. Although, I got up around dawn to surf the Internet and to work on my Twitter account, twitting and re-twitting. And this is my second blog post for the day and I emailed Amy Aimee and Jean Michelle, both who have erotic fiction and at least one interview in the Pittsburgh Flash Fiction Gazette. So, I have accomplished a few tasks today. I’m not a complete lazy bum. But even if I was a lazy bum, I’ve earned it. I’m retired…
Right now it’s a sunny day outside and the high will be in the 40s, but I may just stay in my apartment, surfing the web and reading the new mystery novel by Dick Francis that I checked out of the public library several days ago and I also checked out The Old Man And The Sea by Hemingway which of course I’ve read several times over the years and just read as I rest on my back on the sofa with two pillows under my weary head and then tonight the Steelers will be on the radio and I’ll stop reading and listen to the game while I watch a slideshow I put together on my laptop as it sits on my workstation facing me. I may even do some spot cleaning of my shabby but cozy apartment.
You see it’s a Sunday…
Tomorrow is soon enough to get back to the grind of exercising and rehearsing for karaoke at Sonny’s Tavern the first Sunday night of December and doing all of the other things a full-time professional blogger does during the week that he or she does not do on a Sunday. Of course, I’m back on my regular beat in Little Italy on Friday.
Hail to Pitt!
