Greetings greetings greetings during this holiday season from your favorite diarist/smut blogger! Guy Hogan is my name and blogging is my game. What a lousy, overcast day we’re having in Pittsburgh. I can see it through my dirty windows. Even though the high today will be 40 it’s still a gloomy day outside so far. Maybe the sun will come out later on. After I publish this blog post I’m going to take a stroll into Little Italy and have a few beers and shoot the breeze at Armand’s to lift my spirits. I’m doing much better at managing my money so I still have fun money for several more days which is an improvement on how I use to manage my money.
But I digress…
Now that I have a squeegee and will be able to clean the upper outer pane of glass of my windows as soon as we get soon decent weather which may not be for a few months I’m also going to get my carpet cleaned, something that has not happened in years. I just have to let the super of the building know when I want to have it done. I am not going to remove all my furniture. I’ll just have the middle of the carpet done. It’s not as if I entertain a lot. The super said the cleaner would probably want to put in a new carpet. Well, I don’t need a new carpet. I don’t want to be that inconvenienced. I’m retired. I’m in my seniority. I’ve been low-income all my life. I don’t need a “nice” apartment. You can take the boy out of the ghetto (thank goodness) but you can’t take the ghetto out of the boy…
Yes my friends, I’ve turned into my father (without the wife beating). Hell, I’ve turned into my grandfather…
More and more people are discovering my little diary/smut magazine and I have a real shot at averaging at least 900 page views every day for this month; but of course the verdict is still out and we’ll just have to see.
But I’m psyched!
And it seems that Bitcoins are really taking off. If I didn’t follow Bloomberg TV on the internet I wouldn’t know anything about Bitcoins. The radio this morning is all about Bitcoins and the stock market.
As a full-time professional blogger I have to keep informed about what’s going on in the world. Everything and anything is possible material for my little blog of culture for adults. This ain’t no ordinary smut magazine.
Hail to Pitt!
“It’s not easy finding something, anything to blog about every day or almost every day. But since this blog is a diary and a smut magazine I have a lot to work with.”–Guy Hogan
“Retirement has taught me to take a real interest in my finances. When you’re my age and you worked nothing but low-income jobs while you were in the workforce you have to search out all of the benefits you’re entitled to. I mean I did pay taxes all those years of low-income jobs and the benefits I’m entitled to make a real impact on my standard of living.”–Guy Hogan
