I ate my deli corn beef with spicy mustard on American Rye during our 10:15 am break at school; so I’m writing this at noon in the lunch room while eating a banana and drinking bottled water.
It’s a gray, overcast day in Braddock. After school I’ll probably stop at Hemingway’s in Oakland. Heather should be bar tending. I’ll have a couple of cheap beers and tell her what happened yesterday at the job interview. Even though two beers will only cost me $3.00 plus $1.00 for a tip I shouldn’t even be spending that.
I recently got my phone bill from Verizon. I have the cheapest possible plan. They charged me every time I called me old mum last month. I like to call mom three or four times a week. She’s eighty-nine years old and lives with my older sister and her husband in Greensburgh, PA. I was charged for each call.
Now I’ll have to start calling only once a week. Otherwise I won’t be able to pay the phone bill.
