I don’t know if my classmates are going to take their 10:15 am break but I’m taking mine; it gives me time to write another posting.
Earlier this morning most of us were down in the lobby for Pink Day (cancer awareness day). We ate pink cake and pink cookies and drank pink lemonade. All of the women were given long stem pink carnations. Most of the women wore something pink. The men wore some pink, too. I had my black-long sleeve Carnegie Library of Pittsburgh shirt on with an open gray hoodie. The long sleeve shirt has a little pink logo and I wore a safety pin/pink ribbon. My father died of cancer. I guess he’s been dead about five years now.
Well, no one else has come into the lunch room. I guess I’ll go back and post this and then try to get some work done. I actually like the typing exercises and I’m in the last chapter in the book on Word 2007.
