You can imagine my surprise when earlier this morning I was walking through the campus of the University of Pittsburgh and I saw this seemingly endless line of people snaking around Schenley Plaza from a long blue and white bus that had the words “American Idol” scrawled on the side. Yes, American Idol wants to see if Pittsburgh has talent. No, I’m not going to sign up.
American Idol hopefuls, the Old Soldier salutes you!
Hello hello hello, fans who live all over the world! How’s everyone doing?
Finally, the City of Pittsburgh is getting a break from the thunder storms that have been passing through the area these past few days. It’s a gorgeous day in The ‘Burgh today, sunny with the high in the 80s.
I hope the fun money I’ve been expecting by snail mail from Mr.Skin/Naked News arrives today. It’s a great day for drinking beer at Armand’s in Little Italy while thinking deep thoughts about life and writing. It’s a great day for yoga pants.
Hail to Pitt!
