Hello, hello, hello, all you rock ‘n’ rollers! I’m getting back into the routine of blogging every day (more or less). Being a full-time blogger is a lot of work. I do a lot of things behind the scenes that never show up in a blog post. And I’m still striving for those elusive 1,000 page views every day. So far this month The Gazette is averaging 910 page views every day. I’m so close to 1,000 page views every day I can taste it. And of course once I do achieve 1,000 page views every day, I won’t be able to rest on my laurels if I want to keep getting 1,000 (or more) page views every day. Yes, I’m obsessed with page views. But since blogging is one of my passions, chasing 1,000 page views every day is no burden.
Speaking of passion, I’m still experiencing good vibrations from karaoke at Sonny’s Tavern in Bloomfield (Little Italy) the first Sunday night of this month. And since I will no longer be at Nico’s for karaoke, I’m looking forward to the first Sunday night in August for my next karaoke performance at Sonny’s. In a few days it will be time to begin my deep breathing, flexibility and stretching exercises every morning, but not today.
Hail to Pitt!
This is Guy Hogan reporting for the Pittsburgh Flash Fiction Gazette. Today in The ‘Burgh there will be a mix of clouds and sunshine with the possibility of scattered thunder showers later today and a high around 90. All photos of Nicola Paul were sampled from Egotastic All Stars.
PS It’s time for me to return my book on Hugh Hefner and Playboy Magazine. I just wanted to see how he came to start the magazine. There’s no need for me to read about the extraordinary success of that magazine. I want to deal with my own reality.
