Hello hello hello hello hello, fans of girlie magazines who live all over the world! A new day of blogging has begun. What adventures in blogging will we share today? Most of the time when I get up in the morning, I have no idea what I’m going to blog about. It’s just like jazz. All improvisation. If you’re surprised at what you read, well, so am I.
But as I sat down at my workstation this morning (4:30 a.m.), I was kicking around an idea.
What is this blog about? I mean, what is it really all about?
The easy answer, one I’ve stated over and over and over again on this blog is: this is a blog about writing published by a writer for other writers.
And that’s true, as far as it goes.
But as I sat staring at the computer screen I had an epiphany, like a character in a flash fiction story: the Pittsburgh Flash Fiction Gazette is really one heterosexual man’s celebration of female sexuality.
Of course of course of course of course! That’s what this blog is really about. Are you with me?
This is the Old Soldier reporting from Pittsburgh.
