Hello hello hello, all my fans who live all over the world with a special shout out to all my fans in China! It’s true that I do have fans all over the world, but I have more fans in China than in any other nation except for the good old U.S of A.
Could this signal better co-operation and understanding between China and the United States? Let’s hope so.
It’s snowing in The ‘Burgh today. Right now it’s just a very light snow and it’s not supposed to stick even though we’re supposed to get up to two inches of snow (I don’t trust these weather reports). The high will be around 35 degrees.
Well, since I won’t have any fun money until next week I’m not too concerned about the weather anyway. But I am anxious to get back to covering my beat in Little Italy. My first beer at Armand’s and my first karaoke song at Nico’s during each new budget period are always events that I look forward to with great anticipation.
You know what else the Old Soldier looks forward to with great anticipation? Publishing the fiction of talented contributors, that’s what. And next week I’ll publish Clyde Gunn for the first time and Anna Bayes who is one of my regular contributors.
You can’t beat that with a stick!
This is the Old Soldier reporting for the Pittsburgh Flash Fiction Gazette, a magazine of sex as art and entertainment.
PS An editor is only as good as the writers he or she publishes. My writers make me look good.
