Hello hello hello, all my fans who live all over the world! The Old Soldier is reporting for duty.
Today it’s supposed to be a sunny day in The ‘Burgh with the high around 28 degrees. That’s not bad for winter in Pittsburgh. The first thing I did when I got up this morning were my breathing and stretching exercises. If all goes according to plan, I’ll be giving another demonstration of karaoke as performance art at Nico’s in Little Italy Saturday night.
Then after I did my breathing and stretching exercises (I’ve been doing them the past several days) I turned on sports radio 93.7 FM The Fan and I was so happy that Deflategate had faded into the background and the “game” had finally taken center stage. It’s about time. I mean the game is Sunday.
The NFL really needs to clean up its act: child abuse, domestic violence, deflated footballs…What are the chances of the NFL cleaning up its act? Show me the money!
Well, the NFL is not concerned with me (or you for that matter) and I’m not concerned with it. I am concerned about this blog. The state of the Pittsburgh Flash Fiction Gazette is strong. And to show you, dear gentle reader, just how strong it is, tomorrow I will publish a new flash fiction story by Anna Bayes.
You know you can’t beat that with a stick!
What adventures in blogging will we share today? I’ll be updating the front page throughout the day.
This is the Old Soldier reporting for Pittsburgh’s only blog of commentaries, erotic stories, things of local interest, popular culture and sex as art and entertainment.
