Hello hello hello, all you rock ‘n’ rollers all over the world! Guy Hogan is my name and flash fiction is my game. The blogging day has begun. What adventures in blogging will we share today?
Well, I got some fun money today and you know what that means. I’ll be back covering my beat in Little Italy today. I’ll stop in at Sonny’s Tavern for a couple of 24 0z cans of Pabst and a couple of bags of peanuts and I’ll shoot the breeze and think deep thoughts about life and writing. Sometimes there are extra credits left on the jukebox. I don’t like to put money in the jukebox. I spend enough money on beer and peanuts; but if there are extra credits left on the jukebox, I’ll play the songs I plan to sing at karaoke at Sonny’s this Sunday night.
Oh, yes, I take my karaoke seriously. I’ve been doing my deep breathing and stretching exercises religiously all week long.
I definitely want to get another post in the 10 Days To Writing Better Flash Fiction series up today. Other than that, what I publish today will be just as much of a pleasant surprise to me as I hope it will be to you.
This is the Old Soldier reporting for the Pittsburgh Flash Fiction Gazette.

Today in Pittsburgh it will be sunny with a high around 88. Thank you and Hail to Pitt! And visit my little girlie magazine as often as you can. There are now more than 1,700 posts on this site that I hope will do at least one of three things: entertain, inform or inspire you.
