Hello, hello, hello, all you rock ‘n’ rollers all over the world! The blogging day has begun.
Well, I did my deep breathing and stretching exercises this morning (karaoke at Nico’s in Little Italy Saturday night) and I finished cleaning my bathroom that I started cleaning last night (I can only clean my apartment in stages because I’m lazy) and now I’m ready to work on The Gazette.
Yesterday I found out that my RSS doesn’t work. Why it doesn’t work I don’t know (or rather it doesn’t work for me). So, I’ve removed it from the sidebar; but anyone who wants to follow The Gazette can still sign up for the email subscription list or bookmark my little girlie magazine.
And then as usual I checked my sources (Bernie 2016, The Huffington Post…) but there was nothing I wanted to sample for today and I didn’t get any ideas for a blog post. And I also checked my Mr. Skin/Naked News account, but there were no new videos. There may be some new videos later today.
The Huffington Post uses several sources. They’re all at the bottom of the page of The Huffington Post. I clicked on one of them: The Rolling Stone. And I checked out the online version of The Rolling Stone. Yes, indeed. Rock ‘n’ roll. Culture and politics. Very interesting. It was sort of like The Gazette: commentary, culture and erotica…
Well, I’ll be back on my beat in Little Italy by Thursday. The big news here in Pittsburgh right now is sports news: The Pirates and The Steelers. The Pirates are still three games behind the division leading Cardinals who come to Pittsburgh tonight for a three-game series and even though The Steelers beat The Rams 12 to 6 last night in an away game, the team lost Ben Roethlisberger, its quarterback for several weeks because of a knee injury.
Anyway, The Old Soldier is reporting for duty. I’ll be updating the front page all day long. Be sure to check out the front page. You may have missed something.
There will be a mix of clouds and sunshine today in Pittsburgh with a possibility of rain and the high will be around 77.
This is Guy Hogan reporting for the Pittsburgh Flash Fiction Gazette, a blog that is a celebration of female sexuality.
Hail to Pitt!
