Hello, hello, hello, all you rock ‘n’ rollers all over the world! Guy Hogan is my name and flash fiction is my game.
It’s another sunny day in The ‘Burgh today and the high will be around 80. I got some fun money today. So, I will be back on my beat in Little Italy today, drinking beer and eating peanuts at Armand’s while I think deep thoughts about life and writing. I’m sipping on a can of beer right now from a six-pack that I got from the bar down the street that opens earlier than Armand’s. The Old Soldier is doing okay. Yes I drink lots of beer (when I have the money because first I pay my bills). But as I’ve told several people, if it wasn’t for beer I would have jumped out of a window years ago. Some people spend money on therapy. I spend money on beer. And drinking beer is more fun than going to therapy and it cost a hell of a lot less money, too. Besides, what the hell would I write about if I was cured of all my demons?
Successful therapy would kill me…
