The Old Soldier has a new report for you from Little Italy. I wrote this post in my notebook as I sat on a high stool in Armand’s in Little Italy.
It’s mild (high around 42) today in Pittsburgh; but it’s supposed to be around 60 degrees tomorrow for the Pirates home opener.
Ah, baseball is back and for the first time in 22 seasons Pirates fans have a winner to root for.
Now that I have a new computer I’ve started a new marketing campaign for the magazine. I have a Twitter account. My Twitter account automatically publishes every post that I publish; but when I published with my old computer my Twitter account would freeze up if I tried to open it.
With my new computer, my Twitter account no longer freezes up. I can tweet several times a day. So I do tweet several times a day to promote the magazine.
I’m really looking forward to what my regular guest writers are going submit in April. All of them write great erotic flash fiction.
I’ll be attending karaoke at Nico’s in Little Italy Saturday night to present once again karaoke as performance art: not looking at the monitor, keeping eye contact with the audience.
I’m continuing my “Edgar Allan Poe” studies. Thank goodness for the Carnegie Library of Pittsburgh, the public library. All public libraries are great resources for flash fiction writers. Poe went through hell during his life time. His commitment to his art continues to inspire the Old Soldier.
If you are into gangbang stories just scroll down the sidebar and click on “Porn.” I’ve written an entire series of gangbang flash fiction for your reading pleasure.
This is the Old Soldier reporting for the Pittsburgh Flash Fiction Gazette, a blog about Pittsburgh, culture, creative writing and sex as art and entertainment.
