Hello, hello, hello, all you rock ‘n’ rollers! Welcome to my little girlie magazine. I’ve had my fun this month hanging out at Sonny’s Tavern in Little Italy and Armand’s Bar in Little Italy. Now it’s time for me to get back to the serious business of blogging.
Yesterday, I settled back into my blogging routine. I put up two blog posts and returned to my habit of checking out different sites that I like to read like Problogger and The Huffington Post. I did some retweeting; but even after I decided to take a break and to stroll down to the campus of the University of Pittsburgh, I was still restless. Since it was so hot outside, I decided to take a bus back to my apartment.
That was a mistake.
Gale was on the bus. She’s one of the bartenders at Armand’s. She’s a baby boomer like me. We just said hello because she was sitting with someone else. She was on her way to work. That did it.
I got back to my apartment and hunted around until I found just enough change for one last 16 ounce can of cold Pabst Blue Ribbon Beer at Armand’s. Now I’m done. I won’t have anymore fun money until the first day of next month. The first part of every month I’m a wild and crazy guy. The second half I’m a workaholic. Strange. I can’t seem to integrate the crazy guy and the workaholic. I’m sure I’m not the only person with this problem. Oh, well, it’s time to get back to work.
Hail to Pitt!
