Dateline Pittsburgh: 07:30 a.m.
Hello hello hello, and welcome everybody everywhere to my blog! This is your Baby Boomer Papa reporting for duty. I’m retired and I have a passion for blogging. Already this morning I’ve posted a new Naked News video and a new Mr Skin Video. I’ve rotated four erotic flash fiction stories by contributors back to the archives and stuck two more erotic flash fiction stories from the archives to the front page. And now I’m working on this blog post.
I’ve been a busy little bee.
The bad weather returns to Pittsburgh today. Yesterday, it got up to 58 with the sun poking through the clouds every once in a while. Right now the high is in the 50s and a light rain is falling and the temperature will continue to fall today until the rain turns to slush and then snow with the temperature in the low 30s. So much for a break from the yucky weather.
And as I sit here typing the announcer on the radio is saying that this is the worst flu season in years. And there is a question as to how well the latest vaccine works. I didn’t know that thousands of people die from the flu every year in the United States.
No, I didn’t get my flu shot. Tempting fate…
As of this morning the PFFG is averaging 1,092 page views every day for this month. I am maintaining a routine of blogging the first thing when I wake up in the morning and doing all of the other things that a blogger has to do behind the scenes to increase the flow of traffic to his or her blog. My stated goal is to average between 30,000 to 35,000 page views every month. Only time will tell if I’m being too optimistic.
Hail to Pitt!
“Remember to get the weather in your damn book–weather is very important.”–Ernest Hemingway
“I often complain about the cold weather here in Pittsburgh. I don’t remember being so sensitive to the cold weather when I was young.”–Guy Hogan
“I’ll take the cold winter weather here in Pittsburgh because we don’t have earthquakes or hurricanes or tornadoes or gigantic mudslides or fires that burn for days. Those poor fucking people.”–Guy Hogan
